MIDNIGHT SNACK
Set in the 1980s, Midnight Snack follows a young boy who discovers an unusual creature living inside his family's freezer. What begins as a childhood secret grows into an unexpected friendship, revealing a story about loneliness, family, and the quiet magic hidden within ordinary moments. Inspired by the era's adventure films, the film combines nostalgia, humor, and heart to celebrate the imagination of childhood.
INTERSECTION
Intersection is a science fiction drama that explores love, grief, and the impossible desire to rewrite the past. When an experimental memory device allows a man to revisit the moments before the death of his partner, each attempt to change fate creates unexpected consequences, forcing him to question whether healing comes from changing the past or accepting it. Blending grounded emotion with speculative science fiction, Intersection is ultimately a story about memory, forgiveness, and learning to let go.
RAK SUNUK
Rak Sanuk is a deeply personal documentary that follows my return to Thailand for the first time in more than thirty years. As my father's health begins to decline, the journey becomes more than a homecoming. It is an opportunity to reconnect with family, rediscover a culture I had long observed from a distance, and explore what it means to belong to a place that has always been part of my identity.
Blending intimate family moments with the sights, sounds, and spirit of Thailand, Rak Sanuk is a film about memory, reconciliation, and finding home in the spaces between past and present.
ODDS AND ENDS
Inspired by the short film Midnight Snack, Odds and Ends expands its world into a heartfelt coming-of-age feature set in the 1980s. Through the eyes of a young boy and his unlikely friendship with a mysterious creature living inside a chest freezer, the film explores family, divorce, first crushes, and the quiet resilience of childhood.
Blending humor, wonder, and emotional honesty, Odds and Ends is a story about finding connection in unexpected places and discovering that the families we build are often as important as the ones we're born into.
SAKDA: THE AMULET BEARER
Sakda: The Amulet Bearer is a coming-of-age fantasy that weaves Thai mythology into the heartland of the American Midwest. When a Thai-American teenager moves from Los Angeles to a small town in Illinois, he finds himself caught between cultures, family expectations, and an ancient destiny that reaches back generations.
Drawing from my own experiences growing up between two worlds, the story explores identity, belonging, and the search for home through the lens of myth and adventure. While its monsters, magic, and legends are born from Thai folklore, its emotional journey is universal: discovering that the very things that make us different may become our greatest source of strength.
Falling Upstairs
Falling Upstairs: The Joy Between the Leap and the Splat is a memoir-in-progress about creativity, failure, reinvention, and the search for meaning. Blending humor, storytelling, and personal reflection, I explore filmmaking, family, mental health, identity, and the unexpected lessons that come from starting over. I don't claim to have the answers. I'm writing this book to find them, hoping that somewhere along the way, you'll discover a few of your own.
